Proud to announce our collaboration with the Aspros Foundation

Semillas Batlle collaborates with the Aspros Foundation.
Batlle has joined the solidarity campaign “Plantem Futur” (We Plant Future), in which the Foundation gives seeds to people or companies that make a donation through the link https://aspros.cat/plantem-futur/

This campaign is part of the global movement “Giving Tuesday” and runs from December 1 to after the Christmas holidays.

With this solidarity initiative we want to help improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and, the collaborations will serve to acquire Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and help the fight against COVID-19.

The Aspros Private Foundation is a non-profit organization that, since 1962, has worked with families, administrations and public entities to promote the inclusion and quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities.

With our contribution, at Semillas Batlle we hope to be able to sow hope in a moment like the one we are currently experiencing.

The Batlle Solidarity Garden

El Huerto Solidario is a solidarity initiative of Semillas Batlle and Cáritas to help fight hunger and feed those who need it most.

We have allocated an area of 10,000 m2 of cultivation to sow and harvest staple food of high nutritional value (beans, chickpeas, lentils, …) that will be packaged and delivered to Caritas to be distributed wherever it is most needed.

4th edition Huerto Solidario

In March 2013, after the success of the first edition, Semillas Batlle and Cáritas signed a new Collaboration Agreement to launch their Second Solidarity Garden. The purpose of the initiative remains the same: to grow food and donate it to Caritas so that the charity can make it reach people in need. On this occasion, the goal is to get 3 tons of lentils.

The solidarity project is based on a Facebook page www.facebook.com/huertosolidario, and on the commitment by Batlle to change the “likes” or “megusta” received for legume seeds, which he later plants on land of 10,000m2 located in Valladolid and which he allocates entirely to this cause.

In addition, to give greater visibility to the Solidarity Garden and achieve its objective, Batlle has accompanied this year the initiative with various communication actions and an advertising campaign in kiosks as you can see in this videoclip.
